Philosophy of Teaching

 

 

I make the classes I teach fun and approachable for any level of expertise. By encouraging people to get in touch with their own creative spark, I give them the self-confidence they need to believe in their own innate talent and the ability to trust in their own sense of color and composition. I do my art because I love it, it is what lights up my life. I want to share that sense of joy and satisfaction with others. For me the sharing is a gift.

Classes include:
 

  • Sun Printing- Leaf Printing and Stamping on fabrics.

  • Fabric Fun- Coloring fabric using paint sticks, inks, fabric dyes by stamping, rubbing, stencils, and shading.

  • Composition and Technique- Demonstration and hands-on training on theme development for various mediums.  

 

These classes  will show the process I use to create an Art piece and students will be helped and encouraged through their own process.
