Albatross and Chick

 
The Laysan Albatross frequents Kaua`i and the chicks are so endearing with their comical "spiky hair" look .  I always feel so fortunate when I am lucky enough to see a chick waiting for a parent to come back with food.  The Albatross mate for life and share the incubation of the egg and the raising of the chick.
